Juanita Tilgner is a retired educator of more than 40 years with multiple accreditations and has experience as an administrator, classroom teacher, school librarian, staff trainer, curriculum developer and project coordinator.

As author, she has been responsible for Illinois state grants, federal grants and university scholastic fellowships.

Juanita holds degrees from Northeastern Illinois University and Chicago State University with additional doctoral work at Northern Illinois University.

Juanita has been a board member of Connections to the Future, Inc. since its inception.
