About Us
History
Connections to the Future. Inc. was founded in November 2006 by a retired educator who had been with Chicago Public Schools for more than 30 years.
In November 2006, Connections to the Future was incorporated as a not-for-profit organization in the state of Illinois and was granted status as a 501 (c)3 nonprofit organization. We began consultation and provision of technical assistance to families of diverse learners.
In the spring of 2007, we began a property search and purchased and renovated a 5-bedroom house in January.
In recent years, Connections to the Future has held Christmas and Spring Break activities for the local elementary school students, which included creating cookies and cards for a local nursing home.
